Dr Koshy Cherail is a consultant and advisor in the energy and renewables sectors focusing on climate change technologies and approaches to reduce greenhouse gas (mostly CO2) emissions and cope with the effects of climate change.
He has worked on policies to switch from conventional fuels to cleaner energy sources, and adopting sustainable business practices, through efficient energy use, integrating renewable energy to protect the environment, and projects to convert waste to energy. His expertise is in matching energy efficiency and clean technology products and services to meet the needs of intensive energy users and enabling industries to green their supply chain. He supports the SMEs in compliances relating to prevailing and futuristic standards and regulations.
Koshy had a long stint as President at AEEE (www.aeee.in) the association of energy technology equipment, system-integrators and service providers in India (2007-2018). AEEE emerged as a business networking platform over the last 2 decades connecting SMEs, ESCOs, large industries and associations with the power utilities, banks and government bodies.
